Hatta Mountain Safari Tour

Hatta is a part of UAE. It is a small sheikhdom which has its own history. It used to be a small village of few mud houses and a jumma mosque. The village also had two military standard minarets which stand to date. This architecture is still as it is and is the icon of the Hatta village life. UAE government has somewhat restored and refurbished the buildings to depict the past of Hatta village in its actuality as much as possible. This region of the Hatta is famous mostly because of the Hatta Mountains in the background. Due to this kind of geography the Hatta village and its surroundings are little bit elevated than the Dubai city and rest of UAE.

Due to this slightly elevated geography, weather there in Hatta valley is considerably moderate and it is very much suited for the outdoor activities even in the morning and afternoon. Hatta village is almost 200 km’s away from downtown Dubai.

It takes almost 2-3 hours to reach directly. If you want to stop over on the way and do desert safari through the sand dunes of adjacent desert then it may take another 5-6 hours. In that case you might also want to try hiking in the impressive valley of Hatta.(Hatta Mountain Safari)

Meanwhile, if you get too exhausted up then you should n’t worry as there a plethora of rock pools filled with the fresh stream water. These pools are naturally made out of fallen rocks and flowing water and they have been quenching the thirst of the passengers of this valley since the beginning of time. Having enough said about the valley, the option of hiking while in the valley is quite adventurous but one has to take some safety precautions which may include assurance of physical fitness.

You might also want to check the hiking gear that you have brought with yourself. If this is your first experience of hiking then you can also ask for a guide to accompany you on the tour. These people are professionally trained in their field and it is their utmost duty to ensure your safety and health no matter what.
